2013302011

Although that is probably a phone number for someone (I think you should call them and let them know the Dodgers suck) its really just the number of runs the Dodgers have scored in each of their first 10 games since the all star break that they have lost (that’s 10 loses out of 11 games). I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you can't win that many games when you are only averaging just over 1 run a game. At least we have great pitching though.....oh wait we don't have much of that either. I am seriously tired of the Dodgers and the mediocrity. Lets see who I blame, I’ll find 10 people

1. Paul Stupidsta: For signing crappy players (who I’ll be talking about shortly) and for not going after players who have been more consistent throughout their careers. The only player I thank Paul for getting is Jeff Kent, although it was 4 years to late.

2. O-lame is Perez: When you are getting paid 8 million dollars and you suck, you should be thanking your lucky stars that anyone is paying you at all. Don't complain about being "treated like a trash" cause the Dodger fans feel the same whenever you come into a game.

3. Just Disabled Drew: 9 home runs? Really that’s it? You are hitting clean-up for the team and you are aware of this right? And get rid of that waving swing you have. You know the one that looks like you aren't even trying? Wait that’s most swings for you these days.

4. Frank McBankrupt: Yes I know you are doing better as an owner, but the first 2 years of your realm is still hurting the team. Just spend money, get quality players and stay out of the spotlight. Don't be Steinbrenner, don't be Cuban.

5. Jose Cruz Sr.: Okay he is actually a Jr. but how many years has he been in the league and how many years has he underachieved? Wow the answer is exactly the same for both questions! How does he still get playing time? Why is he still on the team? Why is he allowed to bat left-handed? These questions need answering...soon.

6. Grady "One more inning" Little: Not since Jim Tracy have I seen a manager who can leave a pitcher in way to long one day and not long enough the next day. At least he shows confidence in his team. "I think the Cardinals could have put Albert Pujols on the mound and he would have thrown a shutout"

7. Cesar(ian) Izturis: I only put that part in cause his wife just had a C-section that caused him to miss a week of playing. I understand that he is a good fielder, but he is really killing us offensively. Third Base is a power position, and no offense Cesar, but you are not He-Man, and you don't have the power.

8. Danny Bye Bye Baez: Remember when he was our closer? Yeah I try to block it out too. Regardless, he cost us at least 4 games that I can think of off the top of my head. He isn't all bad though, he did try to start a fight with the D-backs a few weeks ago when he hit Luis Gonzalez with a pitch the night after Gonzo called him out for hitting someone else on his team.

9. Dodger Pinch "Hitters": I put hitters in quotes, cause when you go up there and swing at the first pitch, things usually don’t' go your way. Make the pitcher work a little bit. I know you are dying to reclaim your seat on the bench eating sunflower seeds and drinking Gatorade, but make it look like you care at least.

10. Kevin "The Sheriff" Malone: Sure its been years since he was the GM, but the Dodgers are barely getting over the moves he made. Signing Brown and Dreifort to long term deals and basically eating the contracts prevented the Dodgers from doing very much before this year. Are you aware that those two guys made 170 million dollars for a total of like 30 wins between the two of them? Yeah it hurts a little.

There are so many other reasons why the Dodgers are where they are. They could easily be winning the west by 15 games, but instead are under .500 and tied for last place. Oh well.......

…at least training camps have started.

The only thing Home DePodesta was good for was helping me forget about how bad Kevin Malone was.

Problem #2 seems to have fixed itself today. Not that Elmer coming back is a good thing.
