The Office

One of my favorite shows to watch from the past year is the office. Naturally NBC decided that Thursday night was the best night to air it, but for me that means bowling night and alas I miss it. Lucky for me there are some cool people out there who have decided to put episodes on limewire. So I have spent the past 3 days trying to dl all of season 2 and I think I have almost all of them.

Today I watched the episode "Conflict Resolution." In the episode Dwight goes to the Human Resources guy every time Jim pulls a new prank on him. Jim is quite creative:

- Move Dwight's desk 2 inches closer to the copy machine every time he gets up.
- Replace all of Dwight's pens and pencils with crayons
- Create a macro program so every time Dwight types his name it is replaced with diapers
- Put a grip of nickels in the receiver of the phone so it feels heavier, then take them out once Dwight was adjusted to the additional weight. Watch Dwight bang his head.

Anyway that got me thinking to good office pranks. Back in my housing authority days me and my friend were always trying to top one another. She got me really good by having the IT people disconnect my internet. Then my boss came and scheduled a meeting with me for later that afternoon. I go in there nervous as hell. He sits me down, and starts going over excessive internet access from my computer, including fantasy sports sites, espn.com, and web radio. Then he pulls out this file, makes me sign an affidavit saying i won't do it anymore. Then he goes over the county's policy on web use. After I acknowledge I learned my lesson, he hands me another paper that says, that the joke was on me and none of it was real. I turn around to see my friend and all the other people in her department laughing at me. It was sooo not cool! Anyway I admitted she won that round, but the war is not over. Being that I don't work there anymore its harder to come up with things, but alas I shall have my revenge.............
