Cover songs

Today I heard an interesting version of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. It was a cover done by Chris Cornell -

Off the top of my head:

Hurt -- Johnny Cash (NIN)

All Along the Watchtower -- Jimi Hendrix or Dave Matthews Band (Bob Dylan)

What a Wonderful World -- Joey Ramone (Louis Armstrong)

Mad World -- Gary Jules (Tears for Fears)

The Landslide cover is amazing. I think Manson did an awesome job with Sweet Dreams. That Mad World cover is top notch.

I like Guns N Roses 'Knockin On Heavens Door' (Dylan?)

A lot of Nirvana covers are good. They did The Man Who SOld The World (Bowie); Jesus Don't Want Me For A Sunbeam (some old christian song); Lake Of Fire (Meat Puppets).

Orgy covering Blue Monday (New Order)

Lenny Kravitz did a good job with American Woman.

David Lee Roth doing California Girls was AWESOME! (Beach Boys)

Quiet Riot doing Cum On Feel The Noize

Jeff Buckley's verios on Hallelujah is amazing. (Leonard Cohen)

Built To Spill's version of Cortez The Killer (Neil Young)

Bauhaus - Ziggy Stardust (Bowie)

Sinead O'Connor covering that Prince song 'Nothing Compares 2 U'

Pearl Jam's version of 'Last Kiss'

WORST cover is Willai mShatner covering that song by Pulp 'Common People'

Oh and No Doubt DESTROYED 'It's My Life' by Talk Talk
